We are Expanding Wisdom.
- We discuss and answer questions about the various aspects of homeschooling classically. We work to help navigate curriculum and resource choices. We also create our own rich and real content and resources that helps make the Christian Classical tradition accessible to more parents and students regardless of learning style and personality. Some of the resources you can look for are: articles, e-books, curriculum ideas, school-day organization ideas, curriculum & book reviews, how to start a Christian classical co-op, and more.
We are Extending Grace.
- We are real and we have great days, bad days, don’t get anything done days, speak sweetly days, yell and have to repent days, ugly cry days, hallelujah days, productive days, and love days. We don’t pretend to be elitist, perfect, or having it all together. We accept the reality that we are imperfect and broken. We also bravely-and sometimes madly-accept the reality that we are made in the image of God and there is an ideal worth moving towards, even though we won’t fully get there until we see our Savior face to face. We also believe we can help our kids along this same path by setting the good, the true, and beautiful before them each day.
Let’s get things started.
First, I want to thank you for reading. You are a valuable part of this community. The best way to stay connected is to officially join our free community. All you have to do is fill in your name and email in the green bar above. You will receive an email almost immediately to welcome you. This will give you access to our free weekly newsletter, an invitation to our closed Facebook group (launching July 2014), the first look at new posts and updates, and a seat at an online table of moms around the world pursuing the Christian classical model of education in their homeschools.
Second, take a look around. You will notice several tabs under our blog heading. There will be new posts and content published every week during the month of June 2014. That means as the month progresses you will see more and more pages being filled with content and resources until all those tabs are populated! After that we will maintain a regular posting schedule of three posts per week. Don’t worry about having to look on each page everyday. The most current post will be featured in the slider section on the home page along with our About page. Also, if you joined the community you will receive a weekly newsletter with all the posts that were written that week.
Third, its giveaway time!!! We are giving away 3 incredible books related to Christian classical education. They are must reads! Join the community to enter to win. If you have already joined then you are already in the drawing! Use the green bar above to enter!
