31 Days of Playing with the Arts

Welcome! During the Month of October, we will be taking a leisurely look at the arts. We will entertain thoughts on how each of us, no matter how busy or unacquainted with the arts, can play, participate, and find joy in them. You might be surprised what you discover and cultivate.

Some first thoughts on creation and creating are recorded here in a post I wrote as a Schole Sisters post.

Each post will explore an idea related to the arts, the act of creating, or a particular art in a bit size piece each day. We are privileged to have found some incredible people to learn from, who love their art and are willing to share their experiences with you. As you read through this series, I encourage you to be thinking about what act of creating brings you joy, what inspires you, and what do you love? It will be in the answer to this question that you find where you may most easily begin to play with the arts. I pray these posts serve as inspiration in answering your question as well as practical help in resolving the tensions that keep us from doing the creating many of us long to do.

Make sure to sign up for our email list to receive every single ’31 Days of Playing with Arts’ post in your inbox at the end of each week. In addition, as each post is written and published, a link for each will be added below. The links will make it easy to always find the post you are looking for, all you need to do is bookmark this page. Thank you for joining me for 31 Days of Playing with the Arts.
