Planning & Scheduling: My Favorite Resources

Question: What area of your classical homeschool do you have the most trouble trying to make things happen?

I am sure there would be several answers if we sat together and discussed them over coffee or tea. While there are hundreds of particulars, I have found that all administrative and general overseeing tasks fit into four main areas for the homeschool: planning, scheduling, organization, and record-keeping. The classical solutions to these are found by considering the idea of liturgy and the nature of logistics. The important thing with talking about all of this is to remember that our logistics must serve the goal. In fact, if we have not begun by considering our goals, purposes, etc. We will always find ourselves thinking we are not doing enough and second guessing our choices every few months. You can read more about the purpose and goals of a classical education here.

Even still, at some point we have to dive into the nitty gritty particulars of schedules and planning. After all, a theory that does not work in real life, is not a good theory. So, below I have listed links and resources I have found incredibly helpful in learning about the ideas and particulars of liturgy and logistics from a classical perspective including: favorite books, courses, and articles.
