I like your last paragraph. 🙂
In answer to your questions it seems that it’s important to note that concept of paideia is not for the elite, or experts or genius, rather every person is called to participate in life this way. Paideia calls for action – for living by doing – rather than standing by and watching others do. It’s not about personal expression so much as it is about personal formation.
